Brooke Henderson's journey to social justice began at the University of Florida, where she was inducted into the Hall of Fame for her leadership in Gatorship, a social justice retreat, and Gators Matter, Period, a coalition for free menstrual care products.

Brooke’s commitment to supporting community advocates led her to study investigative journalism at CUNY and graduate from Berkeley Law. She has written for the Miami Herald, South Florida Times, Fortune, and the Wall Street Journal. Now, Brooke is eager to learn from and serve those who know their communities best with the Florida Nonprofit Alliance.

When not at work, Brooke enjoys trying every dessert, volunteering with animals, and ham croquettes.
